Absolute humility leads to freedom
The Stateless State, the Anami Desh, Ramana & Advaita Vedanta
Dear Stephen:
I am sorry to learn about your wife's breast cancer.
Medical science has made phenomenal strides and leaps
in the treatment of this and excellent results are now
forthcoming for this type of cancer. Under the
skillful guidance of top notch radiologists,
oncologists and breast surgeons, she will do very
well. So the positive aspect of this is that it is
better than many brain cancers which portend very bad
prognosis
Nothing in life is steady or stable except this vision
in front of us, of the Self, as the Self. This self is
different and entirely separate from the Self which
you will gain with the grace of Pujya Deepakbhai.
Please see
http://www.dadashri.org/selfrealization.html
In preparation for the upcoming event, you would do
well to read the free books available at
http://www.dadashri.org/books.html
The initial books I would recommend are
Who am I?
and
Life without conflict
Now to answer your questions and comments:
You have said:
I am following the Sant Mat path with Sant Rajinder
Singh, successor in the lineage of Swami Ji Maharaj of
Agra, Baba Jaimal Singh and Hazur Baba Sawan Singh of
Beas, Sant Kirpal Singh and Sant Darshan Singh of
Delhi. I am also an admirer and follower of Shoonyo
Maharaj of Manav Mandir in Hoshiarpur, who has given
myself and family a lot of Divine Love and wisdom.
Response:
These are your gurus. Gurus are very important in
worldly life. They are there to help you move from
that which is negative to that which is positive, from
that which may potentially bind you from sin, towards
that which creates karma of merit, for effects in next
life.
However gurus cannot liberate you. For liberation one
needs a Gnani Purush, one who is indeed free from any
sense of doer ship, one who is no one's guru. Like a
living Krishna for an Arjuana like you.
The Gnani simply awakens the sadguru--supreme guru the
eternal guru within you.
http://www.dadashri.org/akramvignani.html
Continued reverence and appreciation for your gurus is
necessary but at the same time every guru desires the
best for his disciple, and if you are able to progress
further spiritually, a true guru is always very
pleased and his blessings are there for you. Self
realization is the end point of all seeking, and until
one attains that, one has to move further learning
from everyone who offers anything spiritual.
This is well discussed in the following free book on
the web
Guru Disciple
http://www.dadashri.org/gurudisciple.html
You then say:
I was shown that we are everything and and there is no
separate self by Sant Rajinder Singh's predecessor,
Sant Darshan on 3 ocassions. But I am still suffering
and have not been taken into that stateless state
since he passed on
Response:
The above knowledge is true, but theoretical. It has
not come into your living experience. For this you
need a Gnani Purush and his grace.
There is much talk about the Self and Self realization
all over the world, but it remains just talk. it is
very nice to listen to, but it eludes the seeker, when
crisis in life comes, or when that knowledge is needed
most. It is therefore mediated through
intellect-buddhi and therefore it is useless for any
meaningful spiritual progress. It is as temporary as
anything else in life.
Self-realization has clear cut markers and milestones
in the spiritual highway. Foremost is the cessation of
negative internal meditation called arta dhyan or
raudradhayn, or simply the inner vexing and hurt to
the self and others and it is through this that one
begins to be free from that which binds one life after
life: anger, pride, deceit and greed.
You then ask:
Does your Liberation reach that stateless state also
known as Anami Desh or the Radha Soami State,
described by Sant Mat Masters as the state of complete
freedom in the human body? Or is it more close to the
state of Self Realization of Ramana Maharshi and
Advaita Vedanta?
The answer is:
Yes, and beyond.
Having said that please realize that all matters of
the Self are beyond words. To attempt to define the
state or to compare the state is to step into the
clutches and realm of the intellect. Only the owner
and the 'experiencer' of the State is there. He is
beyond words.
It is the intellect that differentiates and attempts
to define and compare. What does it matter? The
question is: Will I attain bliss that can never be
taken away or diminished by any worldly force or
event?
That is the critical question.
The answer is thousands are now attaining that in the
Akram Vignan of Dadashri.
You then say:
Abiding in Consiouness is dear to me and is my daily
practice.
Response:
Indeed. This shows that you have already been blessed
with a significant groundwork and substrate for
further spiritual progress. You have been brought very
close to the State. Now with the grace of the Gnani
Purush your work will be done.
Question to you:
Who is abiding in Consciousness?
You say:
For the sake of my Self, my dear wife and 15 year old
daughter, please write to me and explain if your
Realization is beyond Brahm and realization of Sach
Khand and Anami which the Sant Mat gurus say is the
highest.
The words which flow are:
It would be beneficial for the three of you to come to
the Los Angeles satsang with Pujya Deepakbhai. I am
going to be there and will help answer all questions
that you pose to Pujya Deepakbhai as part of a
translation team, if the simple answers from him need
further elucidation.
Yes the Self which is beyond all relative states and
words is gained and experienced through the
Gnan--knowledge Vidhi--grace process of Dadashri. It
is knowledge, experiential knowledge that is gained.
Its experience of liberation amidst all relative
states of the thoughts, speech and acts is on the
foundation of the knowledge gained and is perpetuated
by following the Agnas of the Gnani Purush which are
given to the person in the second hour of the Gnan
Vidhi Process.
The path of Dadashri is new, and amazing. It is open
to all, regardless of their spiritual background or
preparation, marital status or previous sadhanas, and
it does not call for any renunciation, spiritual
practice, austerities, yoga or discipline.
Hope this answers some of your initial questions.
Please know that this is entirely a voluntary process
on your part and it does not cost anything.
I remain here, to be with you in the world of the
Gnani Purush.
With love and namaskaars to the eternal Lord within
the three of you in the family.

Dearest Shuddha Ji,
I am in search of Liberation from the clutches
of my mind and seek God Realization with all my heart.
I am signed up for Pujya Deepakbhai's Self
Realization offering in California in June, but have
not yet registered. I am following the Sant Mat path
with Sant Rajinder Singh, successor in the lineage of
Swami Ji Maharaj of Agra, Baba Jaimal Singh and Hazur
Baba Sawan Singh of Beas, Sant Kirpal Singh and Sant
Darshan Singh of Delhi. I am also an admirer and
follower of Shoonyo Maharaj of Manav Mandir in
Hoshiarpur, who has given myself and family a lot of
Divine Love and wisdom.
I was shown that we are everything and and there
is no separate self by Sant Rajinder Singh's
predecessor, Sant Darshan on 3 ocassions. But I am
still suffering and have not been taken into that
stateless state since he passed on. I have studied a
lot of Advaita Vedanta , because it speaks to me and
because it is what Shoonyo Maharaj has taught me is
the key--living in the abidence of the Self and the
no-mind state. Abiding in Consiouness is dear to me
and is my daily practice.
Does your Liberation reach that stateless state
also known as Anami Desh or the Radha Soami State,
described by Sant Mat Masters as the state of complete
freedom in the human body? Or is it more close to the
state of Self Realization of Ramana Maharshi and
Advaita Vedanta? For the sake of my Self, my dear
wife and 15 year old daughter, please write to me and
explain if your Realization is beyond Brahm and
realization of Sach Khand and Anami which the Sant Mat
gurus say is the highest. Is taking your Iniiation
compatible with Sant Mat or is it above it. I am
suffering in duality and seek Pujya Deepakji's grace
with both hands. I want to stay loyal to Sant Rajinder
Singh and Shoonyo Maharaj but if the realization is
not imcompatible and will provide Freedom or oneness
with Consiousness, then God is leading me to you.
My wife Diane has been recently diagnosed with
breast cancer and this is also very hard for my
daughter. I am searching for Truth for them as well
as my Self. Thank you for your kindness.
Lovingly,
StephenApril 2008
