It was about 8:45 PM, March 14 2006 The final vidhi of the pratikramans with Mahatma Vasantbhai & Mahatma Tarulataben was over. Mahatmas were gathered around these two in the cafeteria
of the hospital in New York along with Pujya Deepakbhai. Pujya Niruma was alone in her room Something within prompted me to go up to see Her. I took
the short elevator up to her room floor, with the camera. There were no spoken words between us. Yet all was
exchanged through silence. In a quick succession a bunch of digital images were
captured. Absorbing all the love that was coming through her eyes,
I said softly, ‘ Jagat ney aa vitaragata na darshan thhai…’ And silently, with words of silence of the highest grace,
I backed away through the hospital bed curtain that covered her… Much has been said about the Eyes of the Gnani in spiritual literature. Perhaps it is best that I let you experience it…There is only You and the Gnani then. Please note that the on the day following this darshan of The Gnani, the non-Self complex of the Gnani underwent a series of events which precluded any further imaging in conventional terms. Her non-verbal communication expressed later, as the now famous, ‘Prem thhi rahejo…Promise?’ Vitarag Darshan through The Eyes of the Gnani |
