Hi David,

It's dave,  Thank you for your prompt and clear answer. I've been
searching the books for some answers but I'd like to ask some
questions anyway - and maybe you can point me in the right direction
for literature

I've had the intent to remain in the agnas but i find after a number
of hours, say halfway through the day dave gets "fuzzy" and tired. I
ask for more strength and it helps for a bit but i lose some steam.
There are no particular sticking points that seem to get me every
time, more just a general fatigue of whatever faculty is doing the
gnan. Sometimes in these moments i'll start reciting the trimantra and
it will help some, i just wondered if you had any other ideas. I also
try to watch videos and things but im not always near the computer
during the day.

Dave is getting fuzzy. What has that to do with 'You' the awakened One? You are already aware and awakened when You state, Dave is getting "fuzzy".

Then you shift away from this State and say 'I ask for strength'. You mean Dave is asking for strength.  That is fine. Where there  is Gnan there is no fatigue. Where there is 'gnan-intellect mediated approach  (notice the small 'g') there will be fatigue. This Gnan is not for Dave to apply. It is for You to Be in, and then help Dave 'see' it all as it is.

The intent to remain in Gnan and Five Agnas is of the newly awakened One, not Dave. Dave can not be in Gnan or five Agnas. Dave is a puppet unfolding under the effects of SCE --Scientific Circumstantial Evidences.

Your intent expressed in this paragraph is the expression of the Grace of the Gnani...within You. He has taken hold within You as the One who wants to accomplish His words of the Agnas.

These agnas seem to be such that they can be applied absolutely no
matter what one is doing. Are there two minds then? One that handles
worldly affairs and one that maintains intent for agna? I play piano
and I was wondering about this - By focusing on being the knower of
dave playing piano am I taking away focus from the actually act of
playing - or is it a completely different faculty that handles this?
There is a certain kind of multitasking to this I see and I'd like to
wrap my head around it.. Even typing this email right now as Dave is
so involved the agnas are eluding me a bit. I try to see the piano
playing or typing or whatever i'm doing as scientific evidence and
this helps to a degree but this is pretty hard for me to wrap my head
around. I need to make sure Dave/I have an understanding of this so i
can continue my work without fear of losing the agna!

Due to old habits the illusion may temporarily cloud the Vision, but there is no connection at all between that which is happening at the relative level, the workings---internal and external--in the Dave complex and the ever increasing energy and Light of the Self in the awakened One--the Shuddhatma. To believe that one has to somehow manipulate and steer the relative is the darkness and the illusion.  The exact Understanding of the Agnas will let You 'see' this. The application of the Agnas is directly related to this inner Understanding which is above the intellect and is not related to it all.

No there are not two minds. There is the mind, chit, intellect, ego complex which is on autopilot, and handles that which is unfolding in front of 'You' the awakened One. And then there is the highest 'intent' and 'decision' --nischaya  of the One who only affirms the Vision of the Agnas, followed or missed, and knows that it should not be so. It is based on the ultimate knowledge of 'this is how it is'. The intent is for the One who has just entered into the Dimension and State of the Awakened, but has not reached a level of awareness and experience that does not necessitate the intent.

When you say 'focusing' on playing the piano, you are in essence using the wrong words after Your awakening. The focusing too is part of that which is happening to the Dave complex, as his fingers, play, his chit focuses or wanders, his eyes and mind cooperate or not etc.  Egoism is defined as  asserting, 'I am doing' when the doer is someone or some other energy. The good playing or the not-so-good playing on the piano is happening, and that is the kriya--activity of mind, speech and body of the doer. And 'Your' "activity" is also happening as the One who can 'see' and 'know' this. The two are absolutely independent and separate.

The Agna never elude You. They always play hide and seek with you as Dave. Please arrive at the Precise Understanding of the Agna and Your work will be done.

Scientific Circumstantial Evidence is not a tag and a label to be applied at convenience by the intellect or Dave. It is the 'silent' Vision of the Awakened One who has transcended the mind-speech-body complex and all illusions that Dave is subject to.

When doing the agnas in public places where I am alone is it
acceptable to do samayik or trimantra etc...? An example of a place
like this is a bus ride for instance. Or should I not do samayik with
other people around because it makes me forget their pure souls? Or is
it possible to feel all of their pure souls while doing samayik

You do not 'do' the Agnas. there is no 'doership' in the Agnas. If there were any, it would be wrong. There is none. There is simply the ever increasing opportunity of the inner silent Vision as the Self, of the Self, to see the Self and the self, and the SCE in front and to settle a 'file' in this Vision.

Get out of this old mode of 'doership'. This is not a meditation discipline of the preGnan Vidhi days.  Stop expecting results. That is also part of 'doership'.  While Dave may want to 'feel' something, what is that You want?

In public places it is best to do the easiest samayik, the samayik of seeing the Self in every human and living being that comes in front of you.   Tremendous results happen if you can do this for 48 minutes without interruption. And Dave will get on and off the bus, eat an apple and do his thing.

Other Samayiks are to 'see' recurring patterns of hurt and hurt related happenings in the life of Dave. For that you need to be in quiet surroundings. Make notes if you want during this Samayik. The internet has many cues on this . Some of the You tubes under  : vishuddhatma are in English.

Trimantra can be recited anywhere and anytime. You should do it especially before undertaking any relative task and driving etc, or  leaving home.

If there is any more writing on samayik anywhere? i would love to read
it - my samayik feels a bit "bumpy" and so i haven't been inclined to
practice it. Someitmes i feel as if my intellect is recalling events
and not a movie. How do I smooth this out? I have the impression it
should be like a movie where i have to do nothing and events play - I
haven't really experienced this fully yet, though i've had minor
success.

Please read:   http://www.dadashri.org/p6.pdf

The final chapters describe samayik in detail. You are the one who knows that the 'intellect' is recalling details. It may not be the intellect. If 'You' can 'see' the details and 'see' the hurt issues--hurt to others or hurt to you--then the Samayik is happening, because the 'seeing' is the freedom.  when it happened you were hurtful or hurting, now in 'seeing' it as is was, You are free and to the extent David was wrong and in error, he should regret and ask for forgiveness through Dadashri's Pratikraman Vidhi.

Minor success is a great achievement. When did you receive the Gnan?

If I have extra time alone and have already done all of my prayers
what is the most important thing to do? Samayik? More Prayers?
Trimantra? Reading Books? Where do these different things hold
priority? In what situation might I choose one or the other in free
time?

The most important is to Be in the Agnas of the Gnani Purush. To this end, the most important thing to 'do' is to rewind the video of the day, and 'see' where the 5 Agnas were missed. Where did you see another person as a doer, where did you miss out the Agna of Vyavasthit, where did you lose your cool and thus miss Agna 4, where were you attracted and thus missed seeing the Self in the other human being, etc. This is what Dadashri had given to young Deepak and now He is a world famous Gnani. You can do this as you are sitting on a park bench or when delayed at the bus station, at the  doctors office or at an airport.

In the Charan Vidhi - what is most important after the Charan Vidhi
itself if i'm running low on time certain mornings? Is this different
for different personality types/karmas? or is there an inherent order
of importance?

The essential reason for the Charan Vidhi is to help You remain in the Agnas of the Gnani Purush and therefore the previous answer above applies here.

Prayer to the Pure Soul, is the next most important thing in the Charan Vidhi because it is the direct application of the Knowledge of the Self and the reversal of aggression. You may recite this within, as you encounter an old 'enemy', or see someone who incites the kashaya of pride, or greed or illusion, within you.

Thanks for your time - hopefully I'll be on the phone call tomorrow
night and will get to clarify even more

Please continue Your live Satsang.
