Gnani Purush Dadashri emphasizing the importance of the five Agnas.

"What is the essence of the world? Normality. Above normal is the poison. Below normal is the poison.
Come to normality. Normality of the pudgal...complex of thoughts, speech and action. The Self is always normal."
  > Dadashri Aptasutra 2431.

"Where there is no bhaav...internal intent... for doing, getting something done or instigating anything to be done
there is absolutely no danger."
  > Dadashri Aptasutra 2564.

"There is absolutely nothing in this world worth fighting for. This is because the state of the Self is bliss. This
bliss of the Self can never be taken away by anyone. The Self is above joy and grief.
Bountiful bliss is with you. Therefore one must not keep so much in the foreign department...that of
the relative world which is dependent on external evidences. Foreign means foreign...superfluous!"
  > Dadashri Aptasutra 3362.

Agna ni mahattvatta

The importance of
the Agnas...
cardinal commandments
and instructions
of the Gnani
after the Gnan Vidhi.

Aptavani 12 Part 2
page 1

The one who follows
the Agnas will experience
the state of Lord
Mahavir.

Gnani Purush Dadashri
gives us the importance
of following the
Five Agnas.

The satsang is especially
meant for mahatmas
term used by Dadashri for
those who have recieved
Gnan.

Q:  You have given us the knowledge of The Self, have told us to remain within the five Agnas and read the Charan Vidhi...a small booklet given to mahatmas after the Vidhi. Is there anything else for us to do?

D:  Of these five Agnas that we...the Gnani Purush and The Lord within...have given you, if you follow even one constantly, it is enough.

Q:  Then you will let us in the lift...the direct effortless elevator to enlightenment...? The rest of the responsibility is yours?

D:  All the responsibility is ours. If one follows all the five Agnas the experience will be like that of Lord Mahavir, and that is my writen guarantee. If you follow all the five Agnas you will experience the samadhi...uninturrupted bliss...like that of Lord Mahavir. Instead of the five if you follow only one of the Agnas, even then the responsibility is ours...The Gnani Purush addresses the combination of the Gnani Purush and the Awakened Lord within as we...us...ours.

After we give this Gnan...The Knowledge of the Self and the nature of the doer of this world...nothing remains to be done. One has to remain within the five Agnas. Within that nothing else remains. And in the entire day these five Agnas become useful to the one who is following them. Staying within the Agnas is enough. These Agnas have the power to enlighten you fully within this lifetime. Even if there are only ten more years or five more years of life left, they will complete the process.

Awareness and
Freedom through
Agnas
Q:  What one must do to be continuously aware of the Self?

D:  These Agnas that have been given to you will grant you Jagruti...awareness. It is enough if one remains in the Agnas. The five Agnas is Gnan itself. There is no other Gnan.

Q:  Is this called causal moksh...the seeds for final liberation have been planted ?

D:  Yes causal moksh has occurred ( in the Gnan Vidhi ), but our Gnan is such that it will benefit only those who follow the Agnas. If one does not follow the Agnas the Gnan will dissipate. This is because the Agnas is the main thing. If there is no protective fence for a field, all the grain may scatter away. Therefore after this Gnan, you will follow the Agnas and then you will experience liberation.

Agna is religion.
Agnas is penance.

D:  There are thousands here who will tell you when asked if they remember Dada...alternatively used for the Gnani Purush or the Lord within...that they remember Dada constantly for every second of twenty-four hours. And those who have not forgotten Dada have not suffered a bit. When Dada is remembered constantly the world memory vanishes constantly. Memory of one means absence of memory of the other. Memory of Dada means absence of the memory of the world. Some become caught up in the bhakti...devotion of Dada. They become zealous in the devotion to Dada by remembering Him constantly. Some others remain in the Gnan...knowledge of the Self and the nature of the doer in this universe. Within these only a few follow the Agnas completely. But for all the ultimate result will be achieved in one, two or five more life times. And for the ones who have been zealous in the devotional approach, their work will also be done because for them external interferences have ceased.

The value is only of
the Agnas.
Q:  Those who have received Gnan, they will be definitely liberated within two to five more lifetimes?

D:   Yes, but only if the Agnas are followed along with the Gnan. If the Agnas are not followed, more life times may result. The value is of the Agnas, not of the Gnan. We are the Agna and following the Agna means we are with you. Dada will be present for twenty four hours.Even if you do not want to remember Dada, the memory of Dada will remain. And some even get dreams of Dada. Even now many get dreams of Dada in India and they even write to me about it.

Who  is greater?
Dada or Agna?
Q:  For mahatmas...those who have received the Gnan...what is the topmost jagruti...awareness?

D:  Awareness is the following of these five Agnas. Otherwise, the constant memory of Dada is awareness.

Q:  Which one is greater? The awareness of remaining in Agnas or the awareness of constant memory of Dada?

D:  Remaining within Agnas is higher. There is no purushaarth... independant active excercise of the free Self.. in one who has the constant memory of Dada.

Q:  If there is no purushaarth in this, does it mean that there is more bhaktibhaav...devotional feelings ?

D:  Call it whatever you want. It is not purushaarth. Where as following these five Agnas is total purushaarth. This purushaarth...independant excercise of the awakened Self is the main thing. The other one has been acquired and may even dissipate.

It is necessary to
follow the Agnas.
Awareness is the following of Agnas. Otherwise to upset what exists is not awareness. That is called sleeping with the eyes open. Do you like following Agnas?

Q:  Following Agnas...means the follower of the Agna remains?

D:  Yes the follower remains. So what will you do?

Q:   I do not want to keep a follower.

D:  Oho! So if we get off the train at Surat...city in Gujarat will we be able to reach Viramgam...another town in Gujarat ? Some who have not remained within the Agnas have lost it all. The ones who have followed the Agnas have become firm and solidly established in the path to final freedom. Otherwise the globe ...the light bulb of Gnan
will be without light. The imparted Gnan however is not entirely useless. His sins have been burnt in the Gnan Vidhi and his bhaavna...internal intent remain good and he wisens up, but he is no longer on the path to moksha...final freedom. Only the one following the Agnas can remain on the path of final freedom. All these folks ( pointing to the satsangis in front of the Gnani) remain in our Agnas constantly, for twenty four hours a day. Try your best and follow them as much as possible. Make your best effort, and for those you miss, do not fret. But do be repentant for the Agnas that you miss following within a day. Repentance must be present within along with a feeling that it should not be so. Then we call it poornahooti...completion of the work.
